VP Board of Directors Nominees: ALL
  • Membership in “good standing” from nomination through completion of board of director’s term.
  • Have the interest and be willing to complete a 2-year term, commit the time to meet the chapter job responsibilities; includes participation in leader training sessions, at monthly in-person Board of Director meetings, attendance at chapter events, conduct monthly team meetings to monitor progress and set priorities for the team, manage issues and develop solutions.
  • Demonstrate professional leadership experience, governance, or previous board of director’s role experience with PMI or another non-profit organization.
Vice President of Communications Nominees:
Vice President of Communications nominees must meet the VP Board of Director qualifications with additional requirement of having a technical competency in administration of web-based software, and in-depth understanding of the latest technology.
Vice President of External Relations Nominees:
Vice President of External Relations nominees must meet the VP Board of Director qualifications with additional requirement of having prior experience of outreach and sponsorship solicitation.

Vice President of Finance / Treasurer Nominees:
Vice President of Finance / Treasure nominee must meet the VP Board of Director qualifications with additional requirement of having a strong understanding of GAAP accounting and the use of accounting programs such as QuickBooks.
Preferred Experience: External career experience in the accounting and finance field; Prior experience preparing and presenting financial reports to others; hands on experience and comfort with QuickBooks, strong PC skills, experience in other chapter volunteer roles such as AVP of Finance, AVP Financial Liaison/Director, other chapter team VP, or similar role outreach position in another nonprofit organization.

Vice President of Marketing Nominees:
Vice President of Marketing nominees must meet the VP Board of Director qualifications with additional requirement of having a digital competency in building the brand and messaging presence, with an in-depth understanding of how the digital messaging, photography, content for website and newsletters, all drive traffic in social media trends.

Vice President of Membership Nominees:
Vice President of Membership nominees must meet the VP Board of Director qualifications with additional requirement of having outstanding customer service and experience of people operations.
Vice President of Operations/Secretary Nominees:
Vice President of Operations nominees must meet the VP Board of Director qualifications with additional requirement of having in business operations management and business intelligence / data analytics.
Vice President of Professional Development Nominees:
Vice President of Professional Development nominees must meet the VP Board of Director qualifications with additional requirement of having successfully managed professional training programs.
Vice President of Programs Nominees:
Vice President of Programs nominees must meet the VP Board of Director qualifications with additional requirement of having experience in event planning and logistics.
President Elect Nominees:
President Elect nominee must meet the VP Board of Director qualifications with the additional requirement of having served on the PMI Phoenix Chapter Board of Directors for a minimum of 6 months within the past 2 years.
