Welcome future and current Agile practitioners and enthusiasts! PMI Phoenix Chapter Agile Community invites you to join us for a day of 4 dynamic Agile speakers and panel discussion to join passionate Agilists for learning, collaborations and industry best practices.  This event will qualify for 4 Technical PDU's.  

Lunch will be provided.

There will be Raffle Giveaways for the attendees:

(3) Scrum Master Certification classes and all attendees will receive a free scum fundamentals e-learning course which comes with 10 PMI PDU'S.
Experis will have SWAG and items for raffle as well.

There will be four presentations:

  • DevOps Transformation Process by Dennis Baldwin
  • Multiple Team Integration Project: an IT Perspective by John Blome
  • Organizational Design using Kanban by Dimitri Pomomareff
  • Introducing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) by Victor Dittingo 

Speaker Bios

John Blome Bio:
IT professional with over 25 years of experience delivering solutions, building relationships with technical and business partners, and providing agile team coaching. Possess in-depth experience in coaching teams while transitioning from traditional waterfall methodologies to agile, scrum, and Kanban processes. Track record of implementing procedures to improve team productivity, reduce costs and time to market. Successful record working closely with business partners to bridge the gap between the business and technologies partners.Certifications include PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, ITIL Foundations, and ITIL Operations.

Dennis Baldwin Bio:
Dennis Baldwin is a member of PMI and an executive level Management Consultant with over 25 years of experience directing national consulting organizations and consulting to high profile clients for optimizing, coaching or delivering solutions supporting both IT and business objectives.

Dennis areas of specialization include:

  • Agile Readiness – Optimization/Auditing
  • DevOps Readiness and Strategic Roadmapping
  • PMO Road Mapping and Optimization

Dennis leads a practice that has helped +200 companies embrace or optimize their Agile culture. His background includes:

  • +15 years of directing Agile Professional Services organizations
  • Frequently speaks at PMI, IIBA and AITP SymposiumsRegarding Agile and/or Project Management Best Practices.
  • Over 9 years managing National Delivery organizations • Company President for 7 years.
  • Published articles on IT Strategy, Business Intelligence, and Managing Project Management for The Dallas Business Journal

Dennis spends much of his time helping organizations establish a thriving Agile and DevOps culture and process. He has presented on Agile and DevOps transformations at PMI chapters, IIBA chapters, and numerous technical conferences.
Dennis received an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from East Texas State University.

Victor Dittingo Bio:

Victor is an accomplished Agile Coach, Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Trainer, SAFe consultant and a Sr. Project Manager with a PMP with over 20 years of demonstrated career success and 8 years in Agile Project Management.
 
Victor is the owner of 111Learn.com, an agile consulting and training firm, that offers Scrum and Agile Certification courses. Some of his clients are Wells Fargo, Mckesson, Charles Schwab, Xerox just to name a few.
 
He is also the founder and current President of the Arizona Agile Association Meetup based in Phoenix AZ.
Victor has extensive experience leading initiatives in application development, Cyber Security, Agile Team building, and platform development. He possesses in-depth experience in Agile Frameworks and has lead several Agile Transformations.
 

Dimitri Ponomareff Bio:
I am a coach and the president of Torak, Inc. I help organizations improve using Agile and Lean Thinking philosophies. Being a fanatic of continuous improvement, I co-founded KanbanZone.com to provide the most innovative visual process management tool. Torak is a provider of Agile / Lean / DevOps coaching and training services. We are a company comprised of coaches focused on knowledge sharing and high levels of accountability to achieve greater results. We provide services to achieve the goals of our clients, which includes, facilitating human interactions that drive positive behaviors towards a common goal.  Torak also collaborates with AgileTestingFramework.com an open source framework to share knowledge about the best ways to improve your Agile Testing practices within a DevOps environment.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds will be processed via your registration confirmation up to the day of the event for a fee of $3. No refunds will be processed on the day of the event or later.

Presentations: Notice: Some presentations may be videotaped or photographed. Speaker presentations, (when available), will be provided.
