Job Description

Overview: 

The PMI Phoenix Chapter Marketing Team is responsible for supporting Chapter’s vision and strategic goals through a variety of communication channels, including Chapter Website, eNewsletter, Weekly Bulletin, Photography, and Social Media outlets. 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

The Marketing Analytics Manager will act as a key strategic and tactical driver of all marketing analytic efforts. These efforts will be central to improving overall team performance and maximizing the team’s impact against key objectives such as increasing brand awareness, member engagement, lead generation and acceleration, and revenue. The role will report to Marketing, but will collaborate with Technology (our Communications team) and Operations to drive analytic decisions.

      Position Requirements:

  • Project management experience 

  • Extensive experience with content management and measurement tools, such as Google Analytics, or other website metrics

  • Analyze, create and execute reporting plans that deliver performance data and insight into each digital marketing channel’s performance and team area

  • Communicate recommended optimization tactics for improving results

  • Work with the Leadership to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for reporting

  • Create digital marketing performance “dashboards” that can be leveraged by team members and key stakeholders

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications (Our Technology) teams to drive the decisions regarding the setup, management, and usage of analytic platforms

  • Work collaboratively with members of the Social Media, Marketing, Communications (our Technology) and Operations to execute analytic objectives Knowledge of and interest in business strategy and objectives, with the ability to put that into meaningful and actionable for audiences.

  • Manage & Optimize website presence for search engines (SEO/SEM)

  • Train new team members on marketing analytics and SME (Subject Matter Expert)

  • Attend Team meetings and Sub­Team meetings, as scheduled. Created and maintain process documentation
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, and trends; share insights with internal teams

Minimum Requirements:

  • Able to work independently and support on a team

  • Exceptional communication, decision making, presentation, and collaboration skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, statistics, mathematics or other relevant degree

  • 2+ years of related digital marketing analytics, especially with Google Analytics, reporting tools, and data visualization

  • Experience with relevant digital communications experience; website, email marketing, web/campaign analytics, social media messaging and SEO/SEM

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate objectives into strategies and solutions

  • Knowledge of Sharepoint and Joomla a plus

  • Enthusiasm for the mission of the PMI Phoenix Chapter

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.

  • Please Note: All Volunteers must be Current local chapter members in “good standing” as defined by chapter by-laws.
